Gareth Bale ’s isolation at Real Madrid has been captured in footage from inside the dressing room after the club’s huge comeback win over Sevilla on Sunday.
Real came from 2-0 down at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium to win 3-2 and move 15 points clear of rivals Barcelona at the top of La Liga. Ivan Rakitic’s free-kick and Erik Lamela’s tap-in put Sevilla two goals up after just 25 minutes and stun the champions-elect.
But substitute Rodrygo turned in after the break to halve the deficit and set up a dramatic finish. Real controversially had a Vinicius Jr goal ruled out by VAR for a handball, but it did not matter, with Nacho scoring with his first touch after coming on to make it 2-2 before Karim Benzema smashed in the winner in the 92nd minute.
