Gardai were busy on Ireland's roads in recent days as they conducted multiple checkpoints across the country.
A number of motorists were found to have been contravening road safety rules and will face fines with one person arrested.
One particular multi-agency checkpoint near Waterford city included RSA, Customs Office and Social Welfare Inspectors as well as gardai.
Waterford gardai stopped two vehicles that were then seized for having no NCT or insurance.
The checkpoint also discovered a vehicle with a bald tyre that had to be replaced.
