Gardai have dealt another hammer blow to a gang linked to mobster Daniel Kinahan - after they seized this deadly machine pistol.
The Mirror has established that the Czech-made Skorpion found in north Dublin last Friday belonged to the same drugs gang that had an identical gun as well as an assault rifle seized in the same area just over a week ago.
Sources have told us that the gang is active in the south Finglas area – and gardai believe it is working for the cartel led by on the run mob boss Daniel Kinahan (45).

“The indications are that it is a sub-cell for the Kinahans,” a source said.
One insider revealed that that gang is led by a criminal from the area who has largely kept a low profile in recent years.
He is not connected to the notorious mobster known as Mr Flashy, who operates in another part of Finglas.
But investigators believe the mobster is becoming more important in the drugs scene in Dublin – and is working for the Kinahan cartel.
That has brought him to the attention of gardai in Finglas – who have now hammered him with two seizures in less than a fortnight.
In the first incident, detectives from Finglas Garda Station searched a residential complex in the area last Sunday week and seized €210,000 of cocaine as well as a German-made Sig-Sauer assault rifle and the Czech-made Skorpion machine pistol, as well as ammunition for the weapons and a silencer.
There were no arrests, but gardai continued to investigate the gang and made another move against them on Friday.
The officers, who were acting on intelligence, searched the maintenance area of another apartment complex and seized another Skorpion, as well as ammunition and silencer.
A Garda spokesman said: “As a result of information received, Gardaí from Finglas conducted a search of a maintenance area at an apartment complex in Finglas at approximately 1:10pm.
“During the course of this search, a suspected sub-machine gun which had been wrapped in white plastic wrapping and then double bagged in black bin bags, was located and seized.
“Beside the suspected firearm was a silencer, loaded magazine and a small white bag containing ten 9mm bullets, all of which were seized.
“All of the items seized will be sent to the Garda Ballistics Unit for analysis.”
There were no arrests.
It’s the fourth seizure of a Skorpion in the last three years.
The machine pistol, with its curved magazine, can fire up to 850 rounds of ammunition per minute – to a range of some 150 metres.
