Three men aged in their 20s have been arrested after gardai carried out a search of a property in Co Clare where more than €100,000 worth of cocaine was discovered along with paraphernalia.
Officers confirmed that this bust was part of Operation Tara, which is an enhanced national anti-drugs strategy.
At around 11:45 pm on Thursday, March 9, Gardai from Ardnacrusha Garda Station carried out the search and arrested three men.

They were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Henry Street Garda station.
Meanwhile, all of the suspected drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
A statement released this morning read: “As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí have arrested three men and seized €100,000 worth of suspected cocaine in County Clare last night, Thursday 9th March 2023.
“At approximately 11:45 pm, Gardaí from Ardnacrusha Garda Station conducted a search at a property in, Clonlara, County Clare.
“During the course of this search, approximately €100,000 worth of suspected cocaine and other drug paraphernalia was seized.
“All of the suspected drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
“Three men, all aged in their 20s were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Henry Street Garda station”.
Investigations are ongoing.
