Gardai have launched a renewed appeal for information on an attack in Co Kildare which saw a man die from his injuries.
The incident happened in Monasterevin in the early hours of Sunday morning and 29-year-old Dylan McCarthy died on Monday afternoon from serious head injuries. Gardai were called to the scene of an altercation between a group of people at the time.
Mr McCarthy from Kilmallock in Co Limerick was found unresponsive at the scene and was rushed to Tallaght University Hospital. He is understood to have received several punches and kicks to the body and head in the attack.

He had been out in the town celebrating the birth of his niece with family when he and his father Eamon suffered injuries. Eamon was transferred to Tallaght University Hospital from Portlaoise for his wounds but they are not believed to be life threatening.
Now gardai are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time to get in touch as they work to determine the course of their investigation. A post mortem is due to take place in the coming days.
A garda spokesman said: "Any person who was in the vicinity of Dublin Street, Monasterevin between 12.15am and 12.45am on Sunday, 21 August 2022 is asked to contact investigating Gardaí. Any road users who were in the area and who may have camera (including dash cam) footage is asked to make this available to Gardaí.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Kildare Garda Station on 045 527730 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111."
