Gardaí have issued an urgent appeal to the public as they search for a missing 70-year-old man amid ‘concern for his wellbeing.’
James Daly has been missing from his home at Blarney Road in Cork since Friday, December 30, 2022.
He is described as being around 5ft 8” in height and is of slim build with short grey hair.

When he was last seen James was wearing a wine coloured jacket and a grey knitted hat.
According to a garda spokesperson, “His family is concerned for his wellbeing and has requested Garda assistance in locating him”.
The full statement read: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 70-year-old James Daly, who is missing from his home at Blarney Road, Cork since the evening of Friday, 30th December, 2022.
“James is described as approximately 5ft 8” in height, of slim build with short grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a wine coloured jacket and grey knitted hat.
“His family are concerned for his wellbeing and have requested Garda assistance in locating him.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station on (021) 4522000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station”.
