Gardai investigating the death of a popular Dublin woman have shared an update on their probe into the horrific incident.
Mother-of-two Lisa Thompson, 52, was discovered dead in her home in Sandyhill Gardens, Ballymun at around 3.30pm on Tuesday.
Gardai were alerted to the scene after a local called Dublin Fire Brigade for an ambulance and on arrival, officers discovered the former youth worker dead in her home with 12 serious stab wounds.
