An investigation is under way after a man was discovered at a Dublin post centre on Monday.
Gardai were called to the facility in the Knockmitten area of Dublin 12 yesterday afternoon.
They were alerted to an alleged immigration offence after a man was found at the mail centre.
He has since been denied permission to stay in Ireland and is currently at Clondalkin Garda Station where he awaits repatriation.
It is not yet known where the man had travelled from or how he came to be in the trailer.
A garda spokesperson said: "On the afternoon of Monday, 24th January, 2022, Gardaí were called to the scene of an alleged immigration offence in the Knockmitten area of Dublin 12.
"A man was refused leave to land and is currently awaiting repatriation at Clondalkin Garda Station."
