Gardai are investigating after shots were fired outside a housing estate in County Longford.
The incident happened outside the Dundarragh Estate at around 3.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
A firearm was fired a number of times however, no one was injured during the incident. Police investigations are still ongoing.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí in Longford are investigating the discharge of a firearm at Dundarragh, Longford that occurred this afternoon Tuesday 24th January, 2023.
"At approximately 3.30pm, Gardaí were alerted after a number of shots were fired at the entrance to Dundarragh Estate, Longford. No persons were injured during the incident.
"The scene was preserved and a technical examination has taken place."
Gardai in Longford who are investigating the incident have appealed to anyone who was in the Dundarragh area of Longford this afternoon Tuesday, January 24, between 3.30pm and 3.45pm and who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
They are also appealing to anyone who was in the Longford town area from 2.30pm and 3.40pm on Tuesday and saw anything unusual to come foreword.
Gardai have appealed to those with camera footage or to any motorist with dash cam footage from the estate at the time of the incident to contact the Incident Room at Longford Garda Station.
