A second man has been arrested in relation to an alleged assault on the red Luas line earlier this week.
According to reports, a woman was hit by an item thrown by a man as he was getting off the tram at Jervis Luas stop at around 11.30am on Tuesday morning.
A man aged in his 20s was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident.

He has been charged with public order offences and is due to appear before court at a later date.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
Anyone who travelled on this Luas Tuesday morning and can assist Gardaí with their investigation is asked to contact Store Street Garda station 01 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
A garda spokesperson confirmed this morning: “Gardaí in Store Street investigating an alleged assault, that took place on the red Luas line on Tuesday, 20th December 2022 at approximately 11:30 am, have arrested a second man.
“The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested yesterday, Thursday 22nd December 2022. He has since been charged with public order offences and is due to appear before a court soon.
“Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.”
A man aged in his 30s was arrested on the day of the incident and was charged for public order offences. He's due to appear before court at a later date, a garda spokeswoman had confirmed previously.
