Gardai fear an outbreak of violence as a fresh feud has emerged in the west of the capital.
A Blanchardstown drug dealing mob have “crossed the line” with a rival faction with links with the INLA. The first incident saw the Blanch mob target a young man with a vicious beating following a row. We have learned that following the rival gang hitting back there were peace talks which led to a truce.
But that has been torn up after younger members of the Blanch mob damaged a house on Tuesday. Now gardai fear that the dispute will see a major escalation in violence.

Local sources told how the Blanch mob – who previously went to war with Mr Flashy’s Gucci Gang in the 2019 Corduff feud – have stepped beyond their mark on this occasion. One source told us: “The Blanchardstown based gang are the troublemakers in each of the feuds they have been involved in.
“They bring trouble to their own door by throwing their weight around. But with this one they are in way over their heads. The opposing gang have links to the INLA and are not to be messed with. And there’s no doubt they will hit back.”
Gardai yesterday confirmed Tuesday’s attack in which windows were shattered. A Garda spokesman said: “No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”
