A serving Garda has been arrested – after she was allegedly caught with cocaine at Dublin Airport.
The Irish Mirror can reveal that the female officer was arrested at the airport today – after officers seized around €100 of cocaine. Sources have told us that the officer, who is aged in her 30s and based in the greater Dublin area, was arrested as part of an ongoing intelligence-led investigation.
It's understood that she is not based at the airport and was flying out at the time. Gardai this evening confirmed a woman was arrested – and that she was a serving member of the force She has now been released without charge and an investigation is underway.

A Garda spokesman told us: “A female aged in her 30s was arrested by gardai this afternoon, Thursday 20 th April 2023, at Dublin Airport having been found in possession of a small quantity of controlled drugs (analysis pending).
“She was taken to Ballymun Station and later released without charge. The drugs will be forwarded to (Forensic Science Ireland) for analysis. The female concerned is serving member of An Garda Síochána based in the Dublin Region.
“No further information is available at this time. Inquiries are ongoing."
