Games of Thrones star Sophie Turner transformed into a 1980s jewel thief for her new role in ITX drama Joan.
The actress, who plays Sansa Stark in the HBO series, looked worlds away from her usual self with blonde backcombed hair and 80s make-up.
She rocked a giant white fur coat, acid-wash jeans and classic Reebok trainers as she filmed for the upcoming series.
Sophie completed the look with gold hoop earrings and a set of red-painted nails.
The star was filming seaside scenes with her co-star Jack Greenless in Herne Bay, Kent, earlier this week.
In one picture, the actress and her co-star were sitting on a bench smoking cigarettes as they filmed footage for the show.
Jack rocked a black leather jacket, smart trousers and brown shoes. He also donned a moustache and slicked his hair back.
Joan will be a six-part series following British jewel thief Joan Hannington's incredible story and is based on her memoir.
The official synopsis states that the series will tell "the true story of her meteoric rise from petty offender to highly talented diamond thief and criminal mastermind".
Joan is described as a 'fiery, uncompromising, and intoxicating character'.
The author was married to professional thief Boisie Hannington and was introduced to a life of crime before the two became Britain's most successful diamond thieves.
When she first got the role, Sophie released a statement on how "excited" she was about bringing her story to life.
"I'm so excited to be bringing Joan Hannington's fascinating life story to screen in Joan," Sophie said.
"She is one of the most notorious figures in the criminal underworld of London, earning her the nickname ''The Godmother''.
"A woman who goes between her thriving and daring career as a jewel thief, all whilst trying to get her daughter back from social services, we see a mother in despair swept up in the exhilarating world of crime."
Creator Anna Symon said: "From penniless single parent to accomplished diamond thief, Joan Hannington’s life story is a thrilling, rags-to-riches rollercoaster.
"I couldn’t be more excited to watch the stellar talent Sophie Turner step into Joan's shoes."
Sophie is best known for her iconic role as Sansa Stark in the HBO series, Game of Thrones.
The series, which ran from 2011 to 2019 and totalled 73 episodes, contained frequent violence and was also very brutal in places.
"The subject matter was so heavy that I just developed a coping mechanism of just having the most fun in between takes, so I wouldn’t get traumatised,” she said. “But I’m sure I’ll exhibit some symptoms of trauma down the road."
