'Game-changing' £50 air fryer reduced in Argos sale praised by bargain shoppers

Shoppers still looking to snap up a decent air fryer for less will be happy to hear that Argos has reduced the cost of a popular model by £10.

With energy bills remaining a concern for many households, there may be quite a few who are still looking to get an affordable air fryer. The nifty kitchen appliances have seen a surge in demand since last year, due to their ability to be more energy-efficient than the conventional oven.

If you don't want to break the bank purchasing one of the kitchen devices, then you're in luck, as Argos has recently slashed the cost of the Instant 3.8L Air Fryer from £60 to £50. While it may not seem like the biggest saving, it is one of the cheapest models you can get for that size.

The 3.8L air fryers from the bestselling Ninja brand are currently priced at £129 from the Ninja website. Meanwhile, Argos also stocks a 3.8L Ninja for £150.

That means that Argos shoppers are saving between £79 to £50 for a model that is a similar size to one from a popular brand.

The £50 Instant 3.8L Air Fryer is well sized for smaller households as it can cook up between 3-4 portions. It also features manual controls for simplicity, dials to set the desired time, an overheat protection and an auto-switch off for peace of mind.

The Instant 3.8L air fryer has been hailed as a "game-changer" by shoppers (Argos)

That's not all, as the kitchen appliance comes with a one year guarantee, so shoppers can rest easily knowing that their air fryer will be covered if it breaks down during that time period.

Argos' Instant 3.8L Air Fryer currently has a 4.8 out of 5 star rating and a 96% approval rating on the retailer's website. Nearly 200 shoppers have hailed the "game-changing" device for helping them save on energy.

One glowing review read: "This air fryer has been a game changer in our household. We use it every day in our kitchen; be it cooking from scratch or reheating food from a previous meal. It is compact, so not taking up too much space on the worktop, it is quick to heat up and cook items, and it is easy to clean. I can’t stress enough how useful and cost effective this air fryer is. I wish I had bought this years ago!!"

A second impressed shopper wrote: "This was replacement for the Tefal model that i returned as faulty. This is my favourite kitchen kit I have. Amazing results and super easy to use and clean. Healthy and fun way to cook. Plus economical, not had my oven on since I bought it. Perfect size 10/10."

While a third raved: "Works beautifully. Trays are very easy to wash. Great value for money. I use it a lot to save on energy. Lots of room to cook fish and chips together. I even baked scones in it...they were crispier than when baked in the oven, but still delicious. I recommend this air fryer."

A fourth added: "I didn’t realise how lovely and crispy food is when cooked in this at half the time of an oven at a fraction of the price to run it. Oven chips were crispy, chicken beautiful. Cheese on toast and many new thing like veggie chicken nuggets. I’m very glad I bought this. Probably the size I bought would feed 2 to 3 people."

The Instant 3.8L Air Fryer can be purchased for £50 on the Argos website.
