The UKGC has introduced changes to gaming machine rules -

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has introduced changes to machine rules in order to “make gaming machines fairer and safer for consumers”.

New Category B gaming machines must now “provide consumers with improved access to gambling management tools” as well as “sessional information detailing how long they have been playing for and how much they have won or lost”, while there will be improvements in responsible game design, such as “ensuring awards below the stake size are not celebrated”.
