Ollie Horgan has joined his hometown club Galway United, as assistant manager to John Caufield.
The former Finn Harps boss will be Caulfield’s right-hand-man in next season’s bid to win promotion to the Premier Division.
Horgan spent almost a decade at Harps, twice leading the Donegal side to promotion.
He said: “I’m looking forward to the challenge, we all know how difficult and demanding the league is, but I’m looking forward to getting started.”
Harps spent six of Horgan’s nine years at the club in the Premier Division.
