Galatasaray are closing in on a shock move for Dundee United's World Cup hero Aziz Behich.
The 32-year-old impressed for Australia at the World Cup and has enjoyed a fine season for United after signing in July from Turkish Super League side Giresunspor.
Behich previously spent eight years in the Turkish top flight, enjoying spells with Bursaspor, Istanbul Basaksehir and Kayserispor too.
But Istanbul giants Galatasaray have now turned their attention to the United left back after a swap deal between Sivasspor's Ugur Ciftci and Emre Tasdemir fell through after their own player refused to move.
Sivasspor then demanded £1 million to sign Ciftci on his own and the deal collapsed.
And reports in Turkey have suggested Galatasaray will now open negotiations with the Tannadice side to try and sign former PSV Eindhoven defender Behich.
He is under contract until the summer of next year so Galatasaray would have to make United a suitable offer to land the experienced 55-times capped Socceroos international.
