Galactus CONFIRMED as 'Fantastic Four' villain in Marvel drone show; announcement made after 'Deadpool and Wolverine' screening - WATCH

In a spectacular reveal following the surprise screening of 'Deadpool and Wolverine', Marvel Studios confirmed that the iconic villain Galactus will be the main antagonist in the upcoming 'Fantastic Four' film. The announcement was made in a breathtaking drone show that left fans and onlookers in awe and we have the first videos from the scene.

After the final credits rolled at the premiere of 'Deadpool and Wolverine' at Comic-Con, the sky above the venue lit up with a dazzling display of drones, to create the image of Galactus rising from behind the buildings. After the unmistakable silhouette of Galactus was displayed in his signature purple lights, the drones went off, and the 'Fantastic Four' logo lit up the sky.

This announcement comes shortly after the cast for the 'Fantastic Four', featuring Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, came together for a first photo from the sets. The crew hugged it out in the picture that Pedro captioned, "Our first mission."

It has long been rumoured that Ralph Ineson would join the film as the villain. Shortly after the drone show, all public pages of the film seem to confirm that he will portray the main villain Galactus. While this will be the first time that we will see the villain in action, he has previously made an appearance in the 2007 film 'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer'.

Known as the Devourer of Worlds, Galactus's presence hints at a potentially epic and universe-spanning storyline for the Fantastic Four's introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Reactions on social media were immediate and overwhelmingly positive. Fans expressed their excitement and anticipation for the film, now bolstered by the presence of a formidable villain.

The "Fantastic Four" film, which will reintroduce Marvel's first family to the big screen, is slated for release in July 2025.
