Gal Gadot warns actors to adapt to AI and criticises DC Studios

  • Gal Gadot has defended her decision to star in Bitcoin , an upcoming film directed by Doug Liman that utilised artificial intelligence for sets and lighting, warning that actors must adapt to new technology or risk being left out of the industry completely.
  • The actor confirmed that her legal team spent six months negotiating strict contractual safeguards ensuring AI had no involvement in her performance, prompting union SAG-AFTRA to consult her lawyers to help update industry-wide actor protections.
  • Elsewhere, Gadot confirmed that returning to her role as Wonder Woman no longer fits with her life due to family commitments and the extensive time required away from her four children.
  • Reflecting on the restructuring at DC Studios under James Gunn and Peter Safran, Gadot criticised the studio's communication, stating the exits of director Patty Jenkins and Superman star Henry Cavill were not handled elegantly.
  • Although DC executives initially assured Gadot that a third Wonder Woman film would be developed with her, she anticipated the project's cancellation after observing the poor treatment of other major franchise figures.
