Gabriela Ruffels showed true grit by fighting her way from a cruel mid-round double bogey to claw back into contention at the LPGA Tour Championship in Maineville, Ohio.   

The 25-year-old Australian shot a five-under-par 67 to finish four behind runaway leader Chanettee Wannasaen at soggy TPC River's Bend.
