Arsenal look set for another huge summer ahead. Mikel Arteta has already made three additions to his squad so far, but it seems there is plenty more action ahead.
Last year saw the Spaniard spend over £140million in rebuilding his options, but the side narrowly missed out on a return to the Champions League. With Europa League football on the cards, quality and depth are needed for the side to compete once again.
After three arrivals so far, director Edu has suggested more is to come: “We will now continue to work hard and are looking forward to finishing this transfer window as strongly possible.”

A number of high-profile options have been linked with a switch to the Emirates, especially in the forward department as Arteta looks to improve in the goal scoring department. With that said, here’s a look at his potential realistic and dream striking options.
Dream options
A return to the Emirates for Serge Gnabry has been rumoured and would certainly be a dream option for Arteta. The 26-year-old only has one-year remaining on his deal at Bayern Munich, where he has continued to impress since leaving the Gunners.
Gnabry’s versatility makes him a threat and his 14 goals and six assists in the Bundesliga last season shows he can have an impact at the top end of the pitch. Add to that Raphinha, who has also been linked with a move.
The Leeds United winger is said to be open to a move away this summer, scoring 11 and assisting three in the Premier League last campaign. His flair and versatility also make him an attractive option.
Finally for the additions, there’s Gabriel Jesus. The Manchester City forward offers plenty of ability on and off the ball that suits Arteta’s style to a tee.
Dream forward lineup: Raphina, Jesus, Gnabry.
Realistically
The realistic options aren’t too dissimilar from the dream lineup that Arteta could have available to him. Jesus seems like a deal that is likely to be completed in the coming weeks, according to reports, securing at least one natural centre-forward option.
Raphinha also seems like a realistic target, with Leeds reportedly willing to move him on for roughly £65million and the player being “open” to a transfer. However, Gnabry may be a deal that is less likely this summer.
That isn’t to rule out the possibility of him joining once his contract expires in one year, though.
Realistic forward lineup: Raphinha, Jesus, Saka.
