Arsenal got back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Chelsea on Tuesday night to keep the pressure on in the Premier League title race. The Gunners put aside their disappointing defeat at Manchester City last week to produce a roaring start to the match that had them 3-0 up at the break.
Key to all three goals was Granit Xhaka who nabbed a hat-trick of assists. The Swiss international has been viewed as someone who could be replaced at Arsenal amid strong links to Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo, but he continues to go from strength to strength in a more attacking role.
The only blemish on the night for Arsenal came in the form of a consolation goal for Noni Madueke. In the process of conceding the goal Gabriel appeared to injure his ankle. An update on the injury is one of the latest topics of discussion on our View From the Clock End podcast.
