Gabriel Guevara, known for his role in the popular film saga 'My Fault' on Amazon Prime Video, is set to star in Atresplayer's upcoming series 'Mar afuera.' This collaboration between Atresmedia TV and Beta Fiction Spain will adapt the successful Italian series 'Mare Fuori,' which garnered significant viewership and international sales.
The eight-episode series will follow the story of Álvaro, played by Guevara, a privileged seventeen-year-old whose life takes a drastic turn after an accident lands him in a juvenile detention center. Stripped of his comforts and passions, Álvaro must navigate a new reality within the diverse environment of the detention center, facing challenges and hostility.
