Many people around the NBA love what the Los Angeles Lakers have done in free agency this summer.
The team kept D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura and Austin Reaves on new contracts while bringing in a few new complementary players to help it make a run at another world championship.
One of those new players is guard Gabe Vincent, a gritty 6-foot-2 man who was a big reason the Miami Heat made a Cinderella run to the NBA Finals this past season.
Vincent officially signed on Thursday for $33 million over three years, and he talked about how he feels he will be a plug-and-play type of player for Los Angeles.

Vincent will always give 100 percent while playing aggressive defense, but he has also shown an ability to hit open 3-pointers, especially in big situations. During the playoffs, he averaged 12.7 points and 3.5 assists a game while hitting 37.8% from 3-point range.
This is a return home for him in some ways, as he’s originally from the Central Valley and played his college ball at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
