Gabby and Kenny Logan's son, Reuben, has signed his first professional contract with Northampton Saints.
Reuben is one of six youngsters who have been picked up by the Saints senior academy ahead of the 2023/2024 season. All players were presented at Franklin's Gardens stadium prior to their new club's victory over Bath Rugby in the Gallagher Premiership last weekend.
Reuben is one of only two forwards out of the six players, and held up the number six shirt at the presentation. He and all other players selected have represented England at under-18s level, and they will join up with the team on a full-time basis from July 1st.
The back row is the son of former Scotland international Kenny, and renowned broadcaster Gabby. He was initially involved in the Scottish set-up, but has since made the switch and will play the upcoming Six Nations with England.
His grandfather is former Wales football manager Terry Yorath, and he is eligible to play for Wales.
Reuben and Will Glister have come from the RFU's Midlands Central Academy. This was formerly the Wasps' set up prior to their collapse. The forward represented Wasps throughout his entire junior career.
The 17-year-old initially started out in the backs before transitioning into a back row last season. Saints have described him as a "big, powerful and quick lad".
“He’s got some things to learn around his transition to the back row, but the skills he’s picked up playing previously in the centres and on the wing for his school and Academy sides will be great assets for him to have.”
