Gabby Jeffery has described her time on Love Island as a 'rollercoaster' as she returned to Instagram on Friday, days after viewers saw her dumped from the show, after a recoupling that she still can't get her head around.
Hopes were high back home that Gateshead's Gabby would be a big it in the Love Island villa, after it was announced they she'd be going in as one of six new girls, for this year's Casa Amor week. Prior to entering the villa, Gabby said she had her eye on Zach, Scott and Mitch but it ended up being Sammy Root that she shared a kiss with, ahead of the crunch recoupling.
Having seen sparks fly between the pair, Love Island fans thought Sammy would have chosen Gabby, but in the end he went with Amber Wise. And, although Scott looked like he instantly regretted not picking her, he decided to stay loyal, thus sealing Gabby's exit from the programme.

Plenty of people were sad to see Gabby go, thinking she could have been a really good Islander and now, the 24-year-old creative assistant has made her own feelings known, as she made her first Instagram post in some time on Friday. Sharing a photo of her together, with the other Casa Amor bombshells, Gabby wrote: "What an experience! It was a rollercoaster to say the least, but one I would ride over and over again!"
She continued: "So thankful to everyone for the love and kind messages I've received, I really appreciate it. Couldn't have asked for a better set of gals to enter the villa with, Casa girlies for life."
Addressing the dramatic recoupling, which saw Scott and Tyrique both choose to stick, only to see Catherine and Ella return from Casa with new boys, Gabby commented: "I think my jaw was on the floor the entire time. I was very shocked. I was surprised because everyone expected the boys to move like mad but actually it was the girls. When Ella walked in with Ouzy, everyone was like oh my God. Obviously Tyrique wasn’t happy with that."
