The future of residents in an East Lothian council care home being shut down after care inspectors raised serious concern over the building must be "at the forefront of any decisions", its local MSP has said.
Musselburgh MSP Colin Beattie said he was saddened by the decision to close Eskgreen Care Home, in the town.
But he stressed the importance of making sure the 18 residents currently living in the home have their best interests put first as they are relocated.
