Unbeaten cruiserweight prospect Robin Sirwan Safar produced the best performance of his short career to beat former light heavyweight world champion Sergey Kovalev by unanimous points decision. The Swede detonated a bomb in the seventh and final round to clinch a well-deserved win that could put him in contention for a world title fight later in the year.

Well, after years of will-they-won't-they, one February cancellation and plenty of chicanery this week, we're finally here. It's fight day, baby! Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk, with the undisputed world heavyweight title on the line for the first time since 1999.
"Whoever comes out on top, it doesn't matter. Boxing is the ultimate winner here," said Derek 'Del Boy' Chisora, who has fought both Fury and Usyk in his long career. "To have this many fans, all the way in the Middle East, it's going to be electric!"
Friday's weigh-in provided all the fireworks missing at the last press conference the night before.
"I'm going to knock him f****** spark out," spat Fury. "I'm coming for his f****** heart. He's getting it tomorrow, spark out. They [his team] can all get it if they want it." With that, the Gypsy King stormed off stage.
Usyk responded in a typically calm manner. "Don't be afraid. I will not leave you along tomorrow," he said in response to Fury. "If I was nervous I wouldn't win."
The pair had to be separated by security, too, after the face-off – the pair meeting forehead-to-forehead – ended with Fury pushing Usyk to spark a melee.
There was also a problem with Usyk's announced weigh-in, promoter Alex Krassyuk has revealed. The Ukrainian's career-high career-high 16st 6lb (233 lbs), more than a stone heavier than his record, should actually have been called as 15st 13lbs (223 lbs). That's still a record but only by two pounds.
A slimline Tyson Fury measured 18st 7lb, more than a stone lighter than for his most recent bout with Francis Ngannou, but still three stone more than his opponent.
