People have been left furious as holiday makers have been turning up to Leeds Bradford Airport eight hours before their flight.
The official and latest advice from the airport states those due to travel should “arrive no earlier than three hours” before your flight departure time.
They tweeted: “If you're due to travel from @LBIAirport this week, our official guidance is to ARRIVE NO EARLIER THAN THREE HOURS BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME.
"You can help to speed up your passage through security by familiarising yourself with the process. Thank you.”

However, passengers have shared that some people have been arriving at least eight hours before they are due to fly.
Liam Copley tweeted this morning at 4am: “Well British media done a good job in scaring the British public with the airport staff shortage people here for a 12:00 flight @LBIAirport this is the security que very bad management in my opinion.”
Responding to the airport's tweet, Dawnchandler8 said: “You need someone at the back of the queue, validating peoples flight times. If turning up before 3 hours, send them away. When I passed through, people were joining the queue 8/9 hours before their flight. (I bet they’re still eating all the bread they bought in lockdown 1 too.)”
Airport bosses have previously said the ongoing issues are linked to lack of staff at the airport, and the airport is seeking new people to hire. This has seen huge queues and some flight cancellations over the past few weeks.
