Fury as Lambeth Council spends £200k on legal battle over Brockwell Park festivals

A south London council has spent almost £200,000 on a legal battle over a series of music festivals held in Brockwell Park, it has been revealed.

In May last year, Lambeth Council lost a High Court challenge brought by residents over the use of Brockwell Park for large-scale summer festivals.
