A dad was left furious after he claimed he was handed a £100 parking fine for visiting the same McDonald's twice in one day.
Spencer Barclay first went to the fast-food restaurant at the Metro Retail Park in Gateshead to get himself a coffee in the morning before work, Chronicle Live reports. He then said he went to work all day, where he parked in the free car park.
The 52-year-old said he returned to the same McDonald's at around 5pm to get a Happy Meal for his six-year-old son. He was left 'absolutely disgusted' after being sent a fine days later from UKPC, which he claimed said he had been parked up at the eatery for eight hours and 43 minutes.
