An oblivious couple furiously stormed out of a Cher tribute night because they expected the music megastar to be performing at the theatre in Sunderland.
The livid pair thought they had paid £13 each to see the actual songstress in the north east on Tuesday night.
The Cher Show is billed as an "outrageous" new musical dedicated to the 75-year-old icon's 35 hit songs.
But it seems two unhappy customers wish they could just Turn Back Time and stay at home, ChronicleLive reports.
After this week's show at the Sunderland Empire, one of the stars took to twitter - and couldn't Believe what she had found out the night before.
Danielle Steer, who shares the stage with two other Chers and delivers regular knock-out performances, told fans that not everyone was impressed.
The actress posted: "Still thinking about the couple that left in the interval last night because they thought they’d booked tickets to see actual Cher!"
Having opened in Broadway in 2018 and becoming a real smash with Stateside audiences, The Cher Show has now had a revamp for the UK.
Directed by former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips and choreographed by the BBC show's former champion pro-dancer Oti Mabuse, the performance has earned rave reviews.
Tickets start at just over a tenner and the cast have played to packed houses.
There's not much not to love the real thing of course - but she's a little busy at the moment.
Cher has offered her home to Ukrainian refugees as she demands celebs "step up to the plate" as the war on the country continues.
Russia's invasion of Ukraine has so far seen more than two million refugees flee the war-torn country and many want to help the homeless.
Taking to Twitter she wrote: "I Would Like to Sponsor Ukrainian Families in My Home.
"They Would Be Safe & Cared For.
"Many people in my position need to step up to the plate.
"If I was alone or with my children and we were traumatised, I would hope someone like me to take care of us."
