Furious BGT fans accuse 'rude' judges of 'ruining' The Witches act amid final snub

Britain's Got Talent viewers were left seething with rage last night as the live shows got off to a bit of an awkward start.

Fans have accused the judges of "ruining" The Witches act as they joked and chatted throughout the performance, with some claiming that they had destroyed the creepy atmosphere that the performer had been trying to create.

The terrifying witch put a box on the table and asked each of the judges to pull out pieces of paper detailing their worst fears.

As David pulled his piece of paper out of the bag and was asked to read it out, but he joked: "My fear is David Hasselhoff returning to the show."

He then read out what it really said, which was "tape worm".

From that moment on, the judges became increasingly rowdy and awkward as Alesha was hesitant to pick her paper. After she eventually plucked it out, she laughed hysterically before panicking as the audience clapped.

"What? What?! Why are they clapping?" Alesha asked in a panic.

"It says reforming Mis-Teeq," David joked as she cackled before reading the note, mistakenly believing it said "earring".

"Ear wig ," David corrected her.

The Witch kept in character as he sniffed the air and turned to Simon: "The Cowell! Such a strong name and you stink of fear!"

Simon tried to joke back, saying: "You don't smell so great yourself! At least I use soap!"

He then paused, seeming a bit fed up as he asked: "What am I supposed to do now?"

"Read it," Amanda pointed out.

"Well I know that," Simon retorted. "And do what?!"

As he began to open the paper, David quipped: "Losing the name of my plastic surgeon."

The audience clapped and Simon appeared to apologise to the performer about the interruption, but went on to joke that the paper read: "David has signed a 10-year contract."

Eventually, it was revealed that the paper said "maggots".

The Witch returned to Amanda pulled out a paper that said "rodents".

After she was asked to put her hand inside the box, she screamed as he collapsed the box and rat was revealed inside.

Amanda and Alesha leapt up from their seats and ran off screaming as The Witch appeared to run after them.

But viewers were not happy and accused the judges of trying to sabotage the act.

One tweeted: "I really hope the witches get an apology from the judges for the absolute lack of repsect they showed through out the act and the guy had to stay in character. Wasn't even funny ruined the atmosphere #BGT."

While another fumed: "If I was The Witches I’d be so p***ed off, act totally sabotaged by the judges #bgt."

A third raged: "Judges completely ruined The Witches act tonight - at least show a bit of respect to what he/she is trying to do #BGT."

"The Witches. Totally ruined by the self-obsessed judges. Finally an interesting act, eliminated as always. Britain's Got Talent turns into the X Factor more and more each year. Fix. #BGT," another wrote.

Another fumed: "The pathetic judges completely ruined The Witches performance with their childish behaviour. You could see he was getting annoyed with them. They should be ashamed of themselves. #BGT #BritainsGotTalent"
