A popular fun day out for children is returning to Worksop this summer as part of a big UK summer tour. Funtopia has 55 different dates lined up for the summer including two dates near Nottingham in Grantham and Worksop.
The event will pop up at Grantham on April 13 but will spend two days in Worksop at the Bracebridge, Recreation Ground on Priorswell Road. It will take place on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, July 31 from 11 am until 5pm.
The fun-packed event which is specially designed for children under ten offers inflatables, sumo suits, nerf wars, driving school, craft corner, role play areas, circus skills, fun workshops and much more. Organisers have now made the event autism-friendly with sensory toys, queue jump passes and activities such as giant bubble making.
Parents are encouraged to get involved by having a bounce with their little ones on special bouncy castles, run races on the bungee run and also join in on the nerf wars.
There will also be food available on the say with a food court, independent artisan and trade stalls among the pay-per-go rides.
Tickets are on sale for over 90cm £10 and for adults for £2.50. However, once you have a wristband, there is no limit to the number of activities that you can take part in. Although some activities may have age or height restrictions although there will also be an under 5s area for smaller children.
