The family of a man stabbed to death have released details of his funeral.
Kasey James Walter Reid Anderson died on Friday, March 31 after spending two weeks in hospital in critical condition. The 24-year-old was stabbed in the chest and leg at around 6.30pm on Saturday, March 11 on Carr Lane East in Croxteth.
The funeral of Kasey, affectionately known as Kabs, will take place today, Wednesday, May 10 at 1.30pm at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Croxteth. Desmond L. Bannon & Sons Family Funeral Directors said the service will be a requiem mass and celebration of life.

This will be followed by a committal at Greenacres. The funeral directors said: "Kasey will greatly missed and fondly remembered always by all his family and friends. To know Kasey was to love him."
Kasey's family issued a tribute to the 24-year-old and said the loss of Kasey has brought "everyone to their knees".
They said: "We will miss our crazy Kasey. He was a huge part of everyone’s lives. Every single person who met him has a story to tell. He always made everyone laugh and left a mark on everyone he met.
"Our hearts will be broken forever. He did not deserve a second of this. He will be missed by everyone in the community. The loss of Kasey has brought everyone down to their knees.
“As a family we would like to thank all the staff at Aintree Hospital who looked after Kasey and ourselves as a family. We are also so grateful to the whole community for the love and support they have given to us as a family “
Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East, has been charged with Kasey's murder. She has been remanded in custody to appear at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court today.
