A celebration of Glasgow teacher Marelle Sturrock's life is set to take place in her hometown of Wick in Caithness, as family confirm the date of her funeral.
The 35-year-old primary teacher was 29 weeks pregnant when she was tragically murdered by her partner David Yates in her Glasgow home on Jura Street, which also took the life of her unborn son late last month.
A date has officially been set for the funeral of Marelle's life with her family having sent a death notice to John O'Groat Journal - during which they paid tribute to their "beloved daughter" and "dearly loved granddaughter", as well as her unborn son, Jayden Sturrock - reports the John O'Groat Journal.
