The funeral arrangements for Superbike rider Chrissy Rouse have been announced.
The 26-year-old former Emmanuel College student tragically died after a crash in the British Superbike Championship race at Donnington Park earlier in the month.
In a statement this morning, Gateshead school Emmanuel College have said that they will host a funeral at 11.00am on Friday, October 28, in their Sports Hall.

They have asked that people who would like to attend arrive between 10:00-10:45 am. The Funeral Cortege with motorbike escort will then arrive at approximately 10:55 am.
The service will also be livestreamed due to limited capacity in the hall, with a link on the Emmanuel College website.
Chrissy was both a student and teacher with Emmanuel Schools Foundation colleges in Gateshead. He was a student at Emmanuel College from joining as a Year 7 student in 2007 until he left in 2014 after completing his A-Levels in economics, mathematics and physics.
In September 2019 he became a teacher of mathematics at Grace College where he worked until Easter 2022 when he left to pursue his Superbikes dream.
