The funeral of a teenager who tragically died in a crash on the A4174 Avon Ring Road is taking place today (May 21).
Hundreds of bikers took part in a moving procession to honour 16-year-old Daniel who had been driving his moped along the new through-about on April 17 when he was involved in a crash. Police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision - he has now been released under investigation.
Tributes were left in memory of the 'beautiful boy', with cards and flowers for him placed at the side of the road.

Daniel's mother shared details of the funeral arrangements publicly, detailing that bikes would be assembling at Coop Funeralcare, in Warmley at 9:10am. She went on to say that funeral cars will set off before the bikes so that Daniel's family can spend a few final moments privately before the procession leaves the family home.
Bikes were asked to arrive at the family home at 10am, with an escort from Coop Funeralcare to ensure everyone arrived at the correct destination in time for departure.
Dozens of tributes have been paid to the teenager on Facebook since his passing. One person wrote: "RIP You beautiful boy. Taken from us far too soon. You will be in our hearts forever", while another commented: "I'm so sorry for your loss absolutely heartbreaking news".
