Pat Sharp's ill-judged quip about a woman's 't**s' has reportedly seen the Fun House star axed from his radio job.
Greatest Hits Radio, where Sharp had hosted a show since 2019, have confirmed the entertainer will not be returning to the airwaves on their station, as the woman at the butt of Sharp's joke considers 'taking action' against the star.
90s legend Sharp had been comparing at an industry event when he made a jibe about company boss Lizzy Eaton’s chest in front of around 400 people, it's reported.
Lizzy was presented with a T-shirt displaying Sharp's face and infamous mullet from back in his heyday, with Sharp jokingly telling her: "That’s the only way I’ll get on your t**s today."
She proceeded to throw the top back at him and stormed out of the event in tears on Friday, The Sun reports.
Lizzy later said online: “Yesterday I was publicly humiliated, in a sexual nature, by the celebrity host of an industry event, on stage in front of 400 of my colleagues and peers.
“Afterwards I was in complete shock and hadn’t really processed what happened. Today I am struggling with it — I feel sad, dirty and, frankly, violated.
“I have worked incredibly hard to earn my reputation and hopefully be an inspiration to other young women in the events industry.
“Yesterday however, I was belittled, sexualised and objectified in front of hundreds of people I respect.”
Following Sharp's comments at the Conference News Agency Awards at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Central London, Lizzy says she is considering taking action against the star.
In a statement issued to The Sun, Sharp said: "Last Friday, I made a joke on stage which was not well received.
“I upset one individual in particular and for that I am truly sorry.
"I apologised at the event to anyone who was offended and I have apologised to the individual personally too.”
Greatest Hits Radio have confirmed Sharp's contract was due to expire at the end of this month but he will “not return to the station with immediate effect”.
Sharp's Twitter account is currently locked and private, but his Instagram page remains active.
His bio on Instagram still reads: "On air at Greatest Hits Radio, the FunHouse guy! Bookings direct via my website. 40 years + in the biz."
