Tymon Park market is retuning for a second year this summer after a successful run last year.
The market is beginning on Saturday May 6 and will be on every Saturday over summer until the last Saturday in September. The market will be a mixture of arts, food and entertainment.
The event is brought to the area by Dublin Market Events, and event manager Anne Tallbot said: "We look for areas that have good facilities such as car parks, playgrounds and toilets which is why Tymon Park is the perfect location for another summer of the market."

She said: "We want to create a destination that people can come and visit for the day. We also want to attract people from all over Dublin and the idea is that you come and fully immerse yourself in the day and you meet friends and neighbours and have a nice family day out."
The idea for the markets is to give something back to the local community and for the people of Dublin to have something fun for all to go to every market. Anne said: "The market is really all about providing a destination to hang out in for a few hours and there will also be family friendly entertainment. It is really geared towards the summer months and is just an all round feel good, happy day out."
Tymon park is a big area which is divided by the M50 so the market will be located on the Tallaght side, exit 11 off the M50 which is near the national basketball arena.
Speaking about what kind businesses can apply for the market Anne said: "Usually we look for a lot of hot food stalls that would be committed to staying for the five months and the other art stalls can come and maybe stay for a month and then we allow other ones to come in.
The idea behind this is it helps keep the market fresh because you probably will return to purchase the same foods every Saturday but this isn't as likely for art stalls. Changing the stalls up also adds a bit of colour to the market."
Anne also said that the Dublin market events work with the local enterprise office who have an agreement whereby if any new businesses come to them they get passed on and get the opportunity to have a stall at the market. Anne said this is great for them but also for the business owners as it helps them to gain more confidence.
If you are a small business and want to be involved in the market then you can email Anne at dublinmarketsevents@gmail.com or message them on their Facebook and Instagram.
The market is open from 11am to 4pm each Saturday.
