Jon Bon Jovi ended his concert at Madison Square Garden after just 90 minutes and promised fans he would try to reschedule.

The musician, 64, was performing his eighth night of a nine-show residency at the New York City venue as part of Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour, when he had to stop the show.

Videos shared on social media show him telling the crowd: “Don’t throw away your ticket stubs, I’m gonna figure something out, OK?”

“Just hold onto it, we’ll figure out how to reschedule.

He then hugged his bandmates and gave the cheering crowd a thumbs up before walking offstage.

In a statement given to Rolling Stone, a spokesperson said: “Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage and told fans he has been battling a sinus infection, which led to the show’s early ending.

“As part of the Bon Jovi residency at Madison Square Garden, Jon has said numerous times that it has been a joy to return to live shows for the band.

“Updated information will be available shortly.”

Bon Jovi is scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden again on July 26 before the band’s shows in the UK and Ireland in August and September.

The musician previously took a break from touring after having surgery for a strained vocal cord in 2024.

In June, the star said he was ready to hit the road again for the Bon Jovi Forever Tour.

Speaking to People, he said: “I’m fully recovered.

“It was longer than I’d ever expected, but it had to be right. We never lost faith.”

He also praised the patience of his bandmates while he recovered, adding: “They never doubted (me) and never looked for work or decided to retire.

“The sacrifices that each one of them have made to be there for me is on a whole ‘nother level.”
