A street has been renamed "dog s***" alley" by fed up residents.
The message, which was written on a piece of card, was stuck to a road sign near to Church Road and Seymour Street in Tranmere and pointed towards Mersey Park. It read: "Dog s*** alley, leading to dog s*** park".
One person living in the area, who did not want to be named, spotted the sign on his travels and said he agreed with the sentiment. The man said the issue of dog fouling in and around the park has been "going on for years".
