MUMBAI: Producing solid evidence that he is now completely fit for the Ireland T20Is series and more crucially, for the Asia Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup, ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah bowled 10 overs, divided in two spells, to some of Mumbai's young batsmen in an intra-squad practice match on Friday at the picturesque Alur cricket ground near Bengaluru.
This is perhaps the first time that Bumrah, recuperating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for almost the past 10 months now, has bowled even in a practice game since suffering a stress fracture of the back which has kept him out of action since September and seen him undergo a surgery earlier this year.
