West Ham United have two players returning to their squad for their Europa Conference League match against Silkeborg on Thursday evening.
The Hammers’ injury list had risen to as high as five players a week ago when winger Maxwel Cornet was forced off in the 3-1 win over FCSB in the competition with a minor neck injury.
However, Cornet’s injury was not serious, and he travelled to Denmark with the squad and trained inside JYSK Park on Wednesday evening ahead of the game.

Midfielder Tomas Soucek missed last week’s win over FCSB with a minor foot injury. However, he has recovered from that and is in contention to feature in Denmark. Vice-captain and left-back Aaron Cresswell is also back in the squad after missing the last two games with a groin issue.
Defensive duo Nayef Aguerd and Ben Johnson are the only absentees for the clash. Aguerd has not played since July after a pre-season ankle injury that required the Moroccan international to undergo surgery. Johnson, meanwhile, has not featured since last month’s win over Aston Villa with a hamstring issue.
Here is a look at who could feature for the Hammers against Silkeborg.
