Morgan McSweeney failed to tell the Met Police he worked for the Prime Minister when his phone was stolen at the end of last year, a call log released by Scotland Yard has revealed.
The former chief of staff’s omission of his high-profile job title on the 999 call has prompted speculation that the device contained sensitive material related to Lord Mandelson.
