Storm Franklin is set to be the third storm to batter the UK in the past week — bringing with it a barrage of flood warnings.

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for Northern Ireland — not for the first time this month — flagging strong winds that could pose a "risk to life". It has also issued a yellow weather warning to cover England, Wales and parts of Scotland from midday until 1pm.
