Full list of places in Wirral where you can get your covid booster jab

Pop-up vaccination clinics are appearing across Wirral, meaning you can just walk in and get your first, second or booster jab.

The clinics are being set up at places like football clubs and libraries, in the hope that they will be more convenient for busy residents.

Julie Webster, Wirral’s director of public health, said: “We’re really pleased to be working with the NHS to offer jabs to residents at times and locations that are convenient for them.

“Although almost 80% of Wirral people who are eligible for the vaccine have had at least two doses, we know that many thousands still haven’t had a jab or are yet to complete their two courses and booster.

“But it’s not too late - if you’ve not got around to getting your first, second or booster dose, please make use of our pop-up clinics to get fully vaccinated and give yourself the maximum protection from becoming seriously ill from Covid-19.”

There must be a minimum of eight weeks between the first and second dose and at least three months between the second dose and the booster jab.

If you have tested positive for Covid-19, you should still get the booster jab after 28 days have passed.
