A number of roads in and around Phoenix Park will be closed as part of an event on Sunday.
Large crowds are set to descend upon the popular Dublin city tourist attraction this weekend as the Irish Runner 5K will take place on May 15.
A number of roads and entrances to the park will be closed to ensure the safety of the participants.

The following roads will be closed to traffic:
- Chesterfield Avenue (Phoenix Roundabout to Mountjoy Roundabout) - Saturday 10pm to Sunday 11.30am
- Survey Road - Sunday 8.30am to 11.30am
- Glen Road and Upper Glen Road - Sunday 8.30am to 11.30am
- Furry Glen - Sunday 8.30am to 11.30am
The following gates will be closed:
- Castkleknock Gate - Sunday 9.15am to 9.45am
- Chapelizod Gate (No left turn on entry except for access to Cara Cheshire Home) - Sunday 9.15am to 11.30am
- Ashtown Gate (no right turn on entry except for access to Farmleigh House) - Sunday 9.15am to 11.30am
- Knockmaroon Gate - Saturday 11pm to Sunday 11.30am
All roads and gates will be reopened when it is safe to do so.
