2026 Oscars: The full list of winners

The 2026 Oscars have been announced in Hollywood, marking the end of this year’s awards season.

In the end, the spoils were mostly shared by Ryan Coogler’s vampire horror Sinners and Paul Thomas Anderson’s caper One Battle After Another, the latter of whom won Best Director and Best Picture.

Michael B. Jordan beat Timothée Chalamet to win Best Actor for his standout lead performance in Coogler’s film, while Jessie Buckley unsurprisingly continued her awards season winning streak to claim Best Actress for her role in Hamnet.

Comedian Conan O’Brien returned as host for a second consecutive year, following a well-received debut, taking aim at Chalamet’s controversial ballet comments and making a risqué Jeffrey Epstein joke in his opening monologue.

This year also introduced a new competitive award, Best Casting, expanding the total number of Oscars presented to 24. The inaugural prize went to Cassandra Kulukundis for her work on One Battle After Another.

Elsewhere, history was made and confusion ensued after presenter Kumail Nanjiani announced the rare occurrence of a tie. Both The Singers and Two People Exchanging Saliva won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film.
