Full list of bank holidays for 2022 and 2023 after Christmas day off moved

Christmas Day Scotland Wales England New Year Day

As the year is drawing to a close, there are only a handful of bank holidays left to enjoy that you should know about.

And as Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, the festive bank holiday will be moved to the following week - December 27, the Tuesday after Boxing Day.

The same goes for New Year's Day, which is also on a Sunday, meaning we'll get Tuesday 2 January off as well as an extra Scottish holiday the following day on January 3.
